We visited Doña Maria on her farm in the spring of 2018. At that point, she had only sold her coffees to be blended with other coffees from the region. During the visit, we asked that her 2019 harvest be kept separate so that we could purchase her entire lot as a microlot and work directly with her.
The 2019-2023 crops that Maria produced were fantastic, and now we are now excited to offer Maria's 2024 coffee crop!
Doña Maria has been farming coffee for 10 years. She maintains her farm with the help of her daughter and cousins. Along with coffee, Maria farms a variety of fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, potatoes, cabbage, and papaya.
